A Home Away from Home: We had a fabulous stay at this cozy lodge nestled amidst picturesque surroundings. The well-equipped kitchen felt like a MasterChef set, complete with a kettle and a dishwasher that worked like magic.
Patchy Mobile Signal: The only hiccup was the temperamental mobile signal, but hey, who needs constant notifications when you have nature's beauty to soak in?

The units at Burmieston are cozy and well-appointed, with a kitchen that has everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. The living room is comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a long day. And the private bathroom? It's stocked with complimentary toiletries, adding that extra touch of luxury. As a laid-back traveler who loves the comforts of home, I felt right at ease here.
While everything was great, I personally didn't use the dishwasher in my unit.

We were really impressed with the value for money at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the beds were super comfortable. The location was perfect, tucked away in the countryside, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a great stay.
The breakfast menu could have had a bit more variety.

Spacious accommodations for 14 family members with separate units, communal kitchen, and sitting area. Loved the courtyard with a firepit and barbecue. Kids enjoyed the barn with table tennis and toys, as well as the trampoline and seeing the sheep. Well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Burmieston! The cleverly designed accommodation with its high standard and eco-friendly approach impressed me right away. The friendly hosts made me feel right at home, and I loved being surrounded by cute animal neighbors. The whole place had a wonderful energy, and I couldn't get enough of the exceptional breads and pastries from the local supplier.
If I had to mention anything, I would say that it would have been nice to have a separate sitting/lounge room with sofas for the family to relax in. However, this didn't detract from the overall great experience.

We had a blast exploring the surrounding area on our bikes. The trails were wild and perfect for some serious adrenaline rush. Hiking was also amazing, with breathtaking views and hidden spots to discover. We couldn't get enough of the adventures, and the best part was that it was all right on our doorstep!
The only thing we wished for was a cool party room where we could dance our hearts out and have a DJ spinning sick beats. It would have taken the fun factor to a whole new level!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was stunning, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the play barn and the animals which the kids loved. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our stay was great. The kitchen and seating area were lovely, and the hotel provided a tree for me to plant as a birthday gift, which was a nice touch. I had a wonderful family celebration and would definitely return.
Nothing.

We had a fantastic family gathering with plenty of space for everyone. The separate units allowed for a degree of privacy and the communal kitchen was a great place to eat together. The courtyard with a firepit was perfect for spending evenings outdoors, and having a barbecue was a highlight. The barn with table tennis and toys kept the children entertained, and they also loved the trampoline and seeing the sheep. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed. Highly recommended for large families!
We would have appreciated a welcome booklet explaining how things work, such as the projector and bin disposal. We also didn't realize there was no WiFi, and the mobile signal was patchy.
